HOW TO USE:

1. Prepare the Mounting Location: Ensure you have a 4.250-inch (108mm) diameter opening in your vehicle’s dashboard for mounting the tachometer.
2. Connect the Power Harness: Attach the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the designated power and ground sources in your vehicle’s electrical system. This harness also provides power for the LED illumination.
3. Connect the Tachometer Harness: Connect the 8 ft Tachometer Harness to the tachometer signal output of your vehicle’s ignition system. This wire typically connects to the negative (-) side of the ignition coil or a designated tachometer output terminal on your ECU (Engine Control Unit), depending on your vehicle.
4. Mount the Tachometer: Insert the tachometer into the prepared dashboard opening. Secure it from the back using the included gauge mounting ring.
5. Connect the Harnesses to the Gauge: Plug the power and lighting harness and the tachometer harness into the corresponding connectors on the back of the Speedhut tachometer.
6. Test the Operation: Start your vehicle and observe the tachometer to ensure it is reading the engine RPM correctly and that the LED illumination is functioning.
