HOW TO USE:

1. Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3.3" (84mm) diameter hole in your dashboard or instrument panel. Insert the Speedhut GPS Speedometer into the hole and secure it using the included spin-lock mounting ring from the back.
2. Connect Power: Connect the red wire from the provided 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a 12V positive power source in your vehicle. Connect the black wire to a suitable ground point on the vehicle’s chassis. If your gauge has backlighting features, the additional wires in this harness will be for those functions (refer to the full Speedhut wiring diagram if provided).
3. Install the GPS Antenna: Choose a location for the GPS antenna where it has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. This is crucial for receiving a strong GPS signal. Common mounting locations include the roof, dashboard, or rear deck. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and secure the antenna.
4. Connect the Antenna: Connect the male SMA connector of the GPS antenna cable to the corresponding female SMA connector on the back of the Speedhut GPS Speedometer.
5. Initial Operation: Once the power is connected and the antenna is properly installed, turn on your vehicle’s ignition. The speedometer will acquire a GPS signal, which may take a short period initially. Once a signal is established, the gauge will begin displaying your vehicle’s speed accurately as you drive. No further calibration is required.
